The building was built and put into use during 1953/1962, having a Brâncovenesc style architecture, following the line of the old boyar constructions erected at the foundation of the Eforie Sud resort.

The inn was known as the "Hora Inn" and hosted many groups of tourists, both from the country and abroad, gaining a good reputation for its services. Now, after a well-deserved general renovation, the inn is ready to meet all modern requirements in terms of tourism and special events.
