Malomkert is functioning due to the social enterprise called „Holnap Egyesület” (“Tomorrow Association”), which together with other civil organizations located in five Counties from Romania were the beneficiaries of financial support from the European Union through the RESORT Program – The System of Social Enterprises from the Region, based on traditions. Due to the project a rustic style tourist center is functioning, which is also very modern.

Count Kalnoky’s guesthouses

The count’s guesthouses are located in the small szekler town of Miclosoara/Miklosvar 50 kilometers north of Brasov and a 4 hours drive from Bucharest. The guesthouses dating back to the 1800 are Transylvania’s first authentic heritage accommodations. The buildings have been carefully restored in order to preserve their original charm and character, furnished with antiques in the Transylvanian Szekler and Saxon styles.
